The IRS released Notice 2016-4 on Monday giving employers and insurers additional time to meet the ACA reporting deadlines as outlined below.
The Notice makes it clear that individuals who file their 2015 income tax returns are not required to provide a 2015 Form 1095 (similar to the 2014 tax year).
Instead, once received, the Form 1095 should be retained with relevant tax records.
